The inhabitants of Golo village, Senafe sub-zone, said that the health station there is rendering commendable service. They further pointed out that the medical personnel in the locality along with community health representatives are playing significant role as regards community sensitization, antenatal care and prevention of communicable diseases.
Senafe, 26 September 2012 – The inhabitants of Golo village, Senafe sub-zone, said that the health station there is rendering commendable service. They further pointed out that the medical personnel in the locality along with community health representatives are playing significant role as regards community sensitization, antenatal care and prevention of communicable diseases.
Among the inhabitants, Ms. Saliha Omar voiced appreciation to the service being rendered by the health station.
Mr. Abdalla Abdelkadir, head of the health station, explained on his part that it is providing maternity, maternity and immunization services, besides the efforts being made to combat communicable diseases. He also indicated that community awareness on various health issues is on the rise.
The health station in Golo village, 12 Km. east of Senafe city, began service in 2003 and serves the villages along the Eastern escarpment of the sub-zone.
