Eritrean Center for Organizational Excellence provides training for about 70 members of MOE

The Eritrean Center for Organizational Excellence, Embatkala, provided training in different disciplines for about 70 members of Ministry of Education.

Embatkala, 30 September 2012- The Eritrean Center for Organizational Excellence, Embatkala, provided training in different disciplines for about 70 members of Ministry of Education.

The training, supported with practice and theory, which was provided for higher officials of the Ministry from 21 August to 26 September included projects implementation, policy, regulations and law as well as educational process.

During the training extensive discussion was conducted on the research papers presented on Creative Thinking, concept and reception of feedback, strategic plan Development, Process Management, Leadership, Organizational  Configuration, importance of planning, as well as monitoring and evaluation.

The annual plan of the Ministry was presented for discussion and an understanding was reached that the two institution to work together for ensuring the implementation of the plan.

In a speech he delivered, Mr. Semere Russom, Minister of Education, indicated that the training will have an input in upgrading the skill of the participants and it has big significance for it was conducted at a time of the beginning of the school year.

Mr. Petros Hailemariam, Director General of Research and Human Resources in the Ministry, on his part expressed that the plan which was presented after conducting extensive discussion would have a good prospect for implementation.

The trainees on their part explained that the training would upgrade their skills and that they would do their level capacity to implement what they have been trained.
