Hazhaz Rehabilitation and Correctional Center provides training for inmates and members

The Hazhaz Rehabilitation and Correctional Center provided vocational training for 31 inmates for six months.

Asmara, 30 September 2012- The Hazhaz Rehabilitation and Correctional Center provided vocational training for 31 inmates for six months.

During the graduation ceremony conducted on 27 September, Major Habtemichael Berhe, head of the development of rehabilitation and correctional service, indicated that the trainees included 17 members and 14 inmates and that they were trained in sewing, weaving as well as hide products and pottery.

From the trainers, Ms. Qedish Gebrehannes, commending the interest she observed from the trainees reminded them to make proper use of the knowledge they acquired from the training.

Representative of the trainees, Ms. Kibra Yihdego, on her part expressed appreciation for the opportunity they were provided and that they would practically implement what they have been trained.
