Mr. Semere Rusom, Minister of Education, held talks in Asmara today with his Sudanese counterpart, Dr. Suad Abdulrazak as regards cooperation between the two countries.
Asmara, 2 October 2012 – Mr. Semere Rusom, Minister of Education, held talks in Asmara today with his Sudanese counterpart, Dr. Suad Abdulrazak as regards cooperation between the two countries. The two officials held extensive discussion pertaining to ways and means of fostering mutual relations vis-à-vis exchange of experience.
Following the signing of a Framework of Cooperation, a team of Sudanese delegation members headed by Dr. Suad visited the EIT and Asmara Teachers Education Institute during which they received extensive briefings on the development accomplishments registered regarding education in Eritrea.
It is to be recalled that an agreement was reached concerning exchange of higher education scholarships and scientific research ventures between the two countries in line with the accord signed on 31 January and 25 May this year in Khartoum and Asmara respectively.
