Southern Red Sea region: Administrator calls for strengthening of endeavors regarding prevention of sea pollution

Mr. Ali Mahmoud, Administrator of the Southeren Red Sea region, called on the inhabitants to strengthen endeavors as regards doing away with seashore pollution. The Administrator made the call at a meeting he conducted with community representatives of Assab and Southern Denkalia sub-zones.

Stating that the Red Sea is endowed with diverse resources and possesses a comparative advantage due to its pollution-free status, Mr. Ali said that the inhabitants should extend a helping hand to endeavors for sustainably harnessing the nation’s marine resources.

The participants of the meeting voiced readiness to back up national endeavors targeting the marine sector.
