Goluj, 6 October 2012 – The inhabitants of Sabonait village, Goluj sub-zone, said that the soil and water conservation undertakings carried out through their initiative have registered gratifying outcome. Indicating that rivers in the area used to cause grave soil erosion vis-à-vis deforestation, they explained that they managed to overcome the problem through building water catchment walls and terracing.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Efrem Tesfai and Mr. Hamd Hijai expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the initiative, and said they look forward to better produce.
