Inhabitants of Sefe’a call for immediate help to control pests

The inhabitants of Sefe’a, Dubarwa sub-zone, called on concerned institutions for immediate help to control the prevalence of pests in their locality so that they won’t loose the harvest they toiled for a year.

Dubarwa, 7 october 2012- The inhabitants of Sefe’a, Dubarwa sub-zone, called on concerned institutions for immediate help to control the prevalence of pests in their locality so that they won’t loose the harvest they toiled for a year.

From the inhabitants Father Awlogis Fesehaie and Mr. Afwerki Asgedom indicated that the pests are already inflicting damage on crops and that they are working their level best to control it and called on the Ministry of Agriculture for help.

Mr. Habtetsion Solomon, administrator of Dembe-Gu’uf administrative area, expressed that crops were in good condition and ready for harvest and that farmers are working hard to save their crops from further damage until they get the much needed help.
