Following an excursion to Kerkebet sub-zone, a number of civil servants from Anseba region asserted that the agricultural infrastructure facilities put in place there constitutes a stepping stone to a bright future. They also lauded the Government’s commitment to ensure sustainable development of agricultural potential on the basis of internal capacity and in a manner that ensures the people’s benefit. Kerkebet, 8 October 2012 – Following an excursion to Kerkebet sub-zone, a number of civil servants from Anseba region asserted that the agricultural infrastructure facilities put in place there constitutes a stepping stone to a bright future. They also lauded the Government’s commitment to ensure sustainable development of agricultural potential on the basis of internal capacity and in a manner that ensures the people’s benefit.

Among the visitors, Ms. Jemila Osman, Mr. Tewoldebirhan Tesfatsion, Ambesajir Solomon and Ms. Asha Mahmoud voiced appreciation to the accomplishment registered as regards laying the groundwork for agricultural development through infrastructural accomplishment. They also voiced conviction that such venture attests to the Government’s commitment as regards ensuring sustainable rural development and said that it would have a significant impact on fostering all-round agricultural development.

Reports indicate that the visitors were provided with briefings by members of the Red Sea Construction Company regarding the infrastructural programs implemented in the locality vis-à-vis those that have been mapped out.
