The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Molqi sub-zone said that around 4 million Nakfa has been paid in benefit scheme to families of martyrs in the locality. Molqi, 9 October 2012 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Molqi sub-zone said that around 4 million Nakfa has been paid in benefit scheme to families of martyrs in the locality.
Mr. Gebriel Kahsai, head of the branch office, indicated that the Ministry also extended food supply to 909 needy elderly nationals, in addition to 35 needy students.
Among the beneficiaries, Ms. Emuna Ebe-Dingl and Ms. Gimja Kidane explained that they are in a position to improve their livelihood in line with the Government’s regular support.
Mr. Teshome Measho, Mr. Redie Gebrehiwet and Ms. Shashu Beyene on their part lauded the commitment being demonstrated on the part of the people and the leadership in honoring the trust of fallen heroes, and expressed readiness to step up participation in the national development drive.
Meanwhile, Mr. Gebriel further disclosed that the branch office would provide educational materials to needy students in the current academic year.
