Haikota sub-zone: Inhabitants called upon to enhance participation in crime prevention

The office of Police Force in Haikota sub-zone called on the inhabitants to enhance participation in crime prevention. It made the call at a seminar conducted recently with the inhabitants of Hashenkit, Girasha and Libaniyai Administrative areas.

Mr. Abdalla Yacob, head of crime prevention in the sub-zone, explained that crime prevention, the major task of the police, could be ensured only through active popular participation and vigilance, and that no instance of major crime was witnessed in the locality thanks to the collaboration of the inhabitants.

The participants of the seminar on their part said that a seminar of this type is significant in raising community awareness as regards law.
