Commendable community sensitization activities being witnessed in Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone: Report

Mothers in Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone expressed satisfaction with community sensitization activities targeting child and mother health. They further indicated that the putting in place of a health center vis-à-vis the conducting of consistent seminars has played vital role in promoting child and mother health.

Adi-Tekelezan, 10 October 2012 – Mothers in Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone expressed satisfaction with community sensitization activities targeting child and mother health. They further indicated that the putting in place of a health center vis-à-vis the conducting of consistent seminars has played vital role in promoting child and mother health.

Stating that the trend of growth noted in the number of deliveries at health institutions attests to the enhanced community awareness to this end, Ms. Liwam Tewolde, Ms. Jida Ibrahim and Ms. Kedija Ismail, among the inhabitants, lauded the maternity service being provided in the locality.

Samuel Asmelash, a nurse, on his part pointed out that the health center renders laboratory, VCT, immunization, emergency and other services.
