Tio residents laud new transport service by Harat Company

The residents of Tio semi-urban center expressed satisfaction with the opening of new transportation route from the port city of Massawa to the locality by Harat Company. Tio, 11 October 2012 – The residents of Tio semi-urban center expressed satisfaction with the opening of new transportation route from the port city of Massawa to the locality by Harat Company.

Among the residents, Mr. Mohammed Osman, Mr. Mahmoud Sadik, Mr. Nur Abdu and Ms. Hawa Abdu voiced conviction that such facility would play vital role as regards fostering socio-economic activities in the locality.

Mr. Teklehaimanot Sahlezgi, a driver from Harat Company, said that commendable transport service is being rendered across the new route.

The social service facilities in Tio semi-urban center include a community hospital and junior as well as secondary boarding schools, besides mobile telephone facility.
