Around 3 million Nakfa paid in benefit scheme to families of martyrs in Hagaz sub-zone

The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Hagaz sub-zone said that around 3 million Nakfa has been paid this year in benefit scheme to families of fallen heroes. Hagaz, 12 October 2012 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Hagaz sub-zone said that around 3 million Nakfa has been paid this year in benefit scheme to families of fallen heroes.

Among the beneficiaries, Mr. Humed Ali Mantai, Ms. Dinsa Tesfamariam and Ms. Kibra Woldu explained that they are in a position to improve their livelihood in line with the Government’s regular support and that extended to them by nationals inside the country and abroad. They further lauded the commitment being demonstrated on the part of the people and the leadership in honoring the trust of martyrs.

Mr. Endrias Medhanie, a disabled veteran fighter who has been extending 500 Nakfa on monthly basis in honor of the trust of martyrs, expressed moral satisfaction with the initiative.

Ms. Genet Habte, head of the branch office, on her part called on Area Administrations to enhance participation in the process.
