Extensive popular campaign conducted at Elabered Estate Farm: Report

Reports indicated that the inhabitants of three sub-zones of Anseba region carried out extensive popular campaign at Elabered Estate Farm with a view to fostering dairy production on the basis of gathering green feed. Accordingly, the inhabitants of the sub-zones of Elabered, Adi-Tekelezan and Keren have collected green feed from 54.5 hectares. Elabered, 13 October 2012 – Reports indicated that the inhabitants of three sub-zones of Anseba region carried out extensive popular campaign at Elabered Estate Farm with a view to fostering dairy production on the basis of gathering green feed. Accordingly, the inhabitants of the sub-zones of Elabered, Adi-Tekelezan and Keren have collected green feed from 54.5 hectares.

Among the residents of Eden semi-urban center, Mr. Rusom Tesfazgi and Ms. Kibra Ogbazgi said that they took the initiative as a gesture of rapport with the Estate Farm that is supplying milk, vegetables and fruits at reasonable price.

Mr. Negash Tesfamariam and Mr. Berhane Gebregergis voiced conviction that their livelihood is positively influenced by the farm’s production level.
