Inhabitants of ‘Ra’ renovate road leading to their village

The inhabitants of ‘Ra’ who have been regrouped from villages of Ad-Ela and Behaita conducted popular campaign to renovate the road that connects their village with Tio. ‘Ra’, 14 October 2012- The inhabitants of ‘Ra’ who have been regrouped from villages of Ad-Ela and Behaita conducted popular campaign to renovate the road that connects their village with Tio.

From the inhabitants Ms. Hawa Dokaran and Ms. Halima Abdu explained that the campaign to renovate the road was necessary for it was continuously being damaged during rainy season.

They further indicated that the road is very important in their daily life and that they are satisfied with the campaign they conducted.

Mr. Musa Ali and Mr. Abdu Husein on their part said that the road has relieved them from going all the way to Tio by foot and that the campaign they conducted to renovate the road was wise measure.

They further indicated that because of their regrouping they have become beneficiaries of potable water and educational services and that they would shoulder the responsibility of preserving and maintaining of the facilities.

‘Ra’ is inhabited with 141 families regrouped from the villages of Ad-Ela and Behaita and 30 km from west of Tio.
