Around 500 workers in the port city of Assab voiced readiness to back up the national development drive. Mr. Abdu Idris, head of the branch office, pointed out that the government’s persistent commitment to bridge the gap between remote and urban areas attests to its commitment to ensure social justice.
Likewise, Mr. Salim Ali Salim, head of Political Affairs at the branch office, said that the vicious attitude on the part of enemy quarters is a sign of illwill against the strong bond between the Eritrean people and their leadership. He further called on the participants to play significant role in bequeathing national and cultural values to the young generation.
The participants of the meeting on their part expressed readiness to back up the implementation of national development programs and demonstrate staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea agendas.
