New school opens in Biet-Gebriel Administrative area

A new Junior and Elementary school has opened in Biet-Gebriel Administrative area, Adi-Kuala sub-zone. Adi-Kuala, 17 October 2012 – A new Junior and Elementary school has opened in Biet-Gebriel Administrative area, Adi-Kuala sub-zone.

Mr. Amanuel Asmelash, director of the school, disclosed that it has 24 class rooms, offices, a library, store and toilets, in addition to potable water supply facility. He further indicated that the demand for the equivalent educational service in the locality could be met in line with the launching of the school.

Among the students, Weini Kifle, Samuel Abraham, Awet Zemui and Mehret Gebresilasie expressed satisfaction with the service being rendered by the school.

Mr. Gebregziabher Tewolde, head of the Education Ministry’s branch in Adi-Kuala sub-zone, commended the active participation of Biet-Gebriel Administrative area inhabitants in the opening of the school, and called on them to step up endeavors towards ensuring sustainability of such facility.

The school is serving students from the Administrative areas of Biet-Gebriel, Una-Gaebien and Adi-Hidug.
