Health station in Wade village attains 24-hour electricity supply

The inhabitants of Wade village, Central Denkalia sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the service the health station there is rendering in line with the 24-hour electricity supply on the basis of solar energy. Assab, 20 October 2012 – The inhabitants of Wade village, Central Denkalia sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the service the health station there is rendering in line with the 24-hour electricity supply on the basis of solar energy.

Among the inhabitants, Ms. Fatuma Abdu and Ms. Aisha Mohammed said that the health station is in a position to extend its service hours. Mr. Abdu Saleh, head of the health station, explained that it conducts mobile health services, including community sensitization in remote areas.

The health station serves the villages of Gahare, Ganakibo, Suduh-Ela, Ar’anu, Sublalie and Dab’o in the Southern Red Sea region.
