Vocational training was provided to 15 needy youths in Tesenei by the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch office in cooperation with the Public Transportation Services of the sub-zone aimed enabling them improve their livelihood.
Tesenei, 21 October 2012- Vocational training was provided to 15 needy youths in Tesenei by the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch office in cooperation with the Public Transportation Services of the sub-zone aimed enabling them improve their livelihood.
During the graduation ceremony Mr. Saleh Osman, head of Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch, indicated that the duration of the training was for one year and that the objective was to equip needy youths with profession and enable them improve their livelihood and that of their parents.
Mr. Gebrekal Arenias, head of the public transportation services in the sub-zone, on his part expressing confidence that the trainees would practically apply on the ground the skill they acquired, said that youth who received similar training in the past have established their own garages and them and their families are leading a better life.
Likewise, MR. Gebremichael Mengisteab, representative of the sub-zone administrator, noted that the human resources development is on going activity and called on trainees to continuously upgrade their skills through practice.
Parents on their part said that the skill their children acquired would change their life for the better and commended the Government and people for the opportunity they provided to their children.
The trainees also indicated that the training they received would free them from being expectants and expressed conviction that they would live to expectations.
