Inhabitants of Gilass Administrative area improve their livelihood on the basis of social service facilities: Report
The inhabitants of Gilass Administrative area, Hagaz sub-zone, said that they are in a position to improve their livelihood in line with the putting in place of various social service facilities. Gilass, 23 October 2012 – The inhabitants of Gilass Administrative area, Hagaz sub-zone, said that they are in a position to improve their livelihood in line with the putting in place of various social service facilities.
Mr. Asgedom Temnewo, Administrator of Gilass Administrative area, indicated that the inhabitants have become beneficiaries of educational, health, potable water supply, mobile telephone and other facilities. He further explained that they have built water diversion canals, terraces and water catchment walls through popular undertaking, and that they are due to harvest sorghum and millet from a total of 650 hectares.
Mr. Asgedom also called on the inhabitants to practice judicious utilization of social service facilities.
Sister Weini Woldai, director of a kindergarten, voiced appreciation for government endeavors towards ensuring equitable educational service.
