The residents of Segeneiti voiced satisfaction with the putting in place of 10 public telephones and said that the availability of such facility would foster socio-economic activities in the semi-urban center. Segeneiti, 23 October 2012 – The residents of Segeneiti voiced satisfaction with the putting in place of 10 public telephones and said that the availability of such facility would foster socio-economic activities in the semi-urban center.
Among the residents, Mr. Negasi Tikue, Zewdi Tesfazgi, Mr. Berhane Gebresilasie and Mr. Saleh Mohammed commended government endeavors as regards development of the semi-urban center, and said that they would practice prudent utilization of the facility.
Mr. Woldemichael Kidane, Administrator of Segeneiti sub-zone, explained that the public telephones are electricity-powered besides being solar energy-powered.
