Northern Red Sea region: ENWVA members call for enhancement of joint venture regarding fostering their production capacity

Members of the Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) in the Northern Red Sea region called for the enhancement of joint venture as regards building their production capacity. They made the call at a meeting in the port city of Massawa during which they lauded the government’s policy as regards rehabilitation of the Disabled and the accomplishment registered to this end. Massawa, 26 October 2012 – Members of the Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) in the Northern Red Sea region called for the enhancement of joint venture as regards building their production capacity. They made the call at a meeting in the port city of Massawa during which they lauded the government’s policy as regards rehabilitation of the Disabled and the accomplishment registered to this end.

Among the Association members, Mr. Hassen Idris, Mr. Adem Ali, Ms. Letekidan Hadgu and Mr. Abdu Saleh said that they would step up endeavors to further improve their livelihood, and thereby ascertain participation in national development programs.

Mr. Kidane Yohanes, head of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in the region, pointed out that the Ministry is exerting endeavors towards securing conducive environment in which disabled citizens can improve their livelihood. He also called on the participants of the meeting to extend a helping hand towards the realization of the cherished goal.

The meeting also assessed programs implemented in the region with a view to rehabilitating Association members, and conducted discussion on the implementation of future action programs.
