Haikota sub-zone: Area Administrators and village elders called upon to enhance role in implementation of development programs

The Administration of Haikota sub-zone called on Area administrators and village elders to enhance their role as regards implementation of development programs. It made the call at a meeting with community representatives in the locality. Haikota, 29 October 2012 – The Administration of Haikota sub-zone called on Area administrators and village elders to enhance their role as regards implementation of development programs. It made the call at a meeting with community representatives in the locality.

Mr. Hamd Yusuf, Administrator of Haikota sub-zone, particularly stressed the need for the reinforcement of women’s participation in all domains, besides giving thrust to the impact of social service facilities. He further called on the participants of the meeting to step up participation in endeavors to promote popular awareness as regards community-based style of living, tax and land use.

The participants of the meeting on their part voiced readiness to extend a helping hand towards the realization of the cherished goals.
