Seminar conducted in Ginda with a view to raising juvenile awareness regarding law

The office of Police Force in Ginda town organized a seminar for more than 800 secondary school students in the town with a view to enhancing their awareness as regards law. Ginda, 29 October 2012 – The office of Police Force in Ginda town organized a seminar for more than 800 secondary school students in the town with a view to enhancing their awareness as regards law.

Maj. Aron Tewolde, Commander of the Police Force in Ginda sub-zone, explained that prevention of crime is the prioritized strategy of ascertaining the supremacy of law, and called on the seminar participants to keep intact cultural values and pursue the virtue of self-discipline.

Sergeant Beyene Rusom, head of crime investigation in the sub-zone, said that raising juvenile awareness pertaining law is crucial as instances of criminal acts by members of such age group could occur.

Maj. Aron indicated that they would organize more seminars until the desired outcome is attained.
