ENWVA extends support to 16 members in Forto-Sawa sub-zone

The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) extended monetary and material support to 16 members in Forto-Sawa sub-zone. Forto-Sawa, 30 October 2012 – The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) extended monetary and material support to 16 members in Forto-Sawa sub-zone.

Mr. Rezene Tesfamariam, head of the Association’s branch in Gash-Barka region, explained that 14 of the members have each become beneficiaries of 10,000 Nakfa, while 2 other Association women members became beneficiaries of washing machines. He further elucidated that members are in a position to improve their livelihood on the basis of various benefit schemes and micro credits.

Among the beneficiaries, Ms. Birikti Tesfamenqerios, Mr. Idris Saleh-Nur and Ms. Afiet Idris said that the support being extended by the Association is crucial as regards expanding their production capacity and improving their level of income. Moreover, they expressed readiness to settle credits on the time set.

Mr. Rezene called on the beneficiaries to focus on investment domains in which they can attain success based on niche.
