National Bank calls for prudent handling of hard currency

The National Bank of Eritrea called on citizens to practice prudent handling of hard currency.

Asmara, 31 October 2012 – The National Bank of Eritrea called on citizens to practice prudent handling of hard currency.

Mr. Rusom Kinfe, head of budget and planning at the Bank, indicated that instances of untimely wearing out of hard currency have given rise to serious concern for affecting Bank service negatively, the cause of which is largely attributed to inattentive handling. He further called on Bank customers to consider other money transfer alternatives such as check.
