Training course organized for needy women in Eden semi-urban center

A total of 38 breadwinner women in Eden semi-urban center have become beneficiaries of a one-year training course in weaving and knitting.

Elabered, 31 October 2012 – A total of 38 breadwinner women in Eden semi-urban center have become beneficiaries of a one-year training course in weaving and knitting.

Sister Tsigeweini Hailemichael, the resource person, explained that the training is aimed at paving the groundwork for such women to improve their livelihood, and called on the beneficiaries to demonstrate hard work to this end so as to raise their income.

The participants of the graduation ceremony commended the initiative taken to rehabilitate the women. One of the beneficiaries, Ms. Wozenet Tekle voiced satisfaction with the training course and said that she would put up efforts to successfully pursue the new career.

Mr. Meharena Tekleab, Administrator of the semi-urban center, called on the beneficiaries to play exemplary role in this regard.
