Segeneiti, 1 November 2012 – The inhabitants of Mai-Seraw area expressed satisfaction with the service being rendered by the High School there.
Among the students of the school, Yemane Teklit, Tsega-Alem Gebrehiwet, Matewos Gebreyesus and Ruta Teklemichael explained that they used to attend class in Segeneiti and Adi-Keyih prior to the opening of the school, and that they are presently in a position to enjoy conducive educational facility within their habitat. They further indicated that such opportunity has provided them a chance to utilize their spare time in family chores.
One of the members of the Parents Committee in the school, Mr. Hailu Berhane, said that a growing trend of female registration has been noted following the opening of the school.
Mr. Amanuel Girmai, director of Mai-Seraw Secondary School, disclosed that it has presently over 1,000 students, and lauded the inhabitants for encouraging teachers.
Mai-Seraw is located 16 Km. south of Segeneiti semi-urban center.
