Elementary school in Dembe-Kisad Administrative area upgraded to junior level

The Elementary School in Dembe-Kisad Administrative area, Molqi sub-zone, has been upgraded to junior level. Molqi, 2 November 2012 – The Elementary School in Dembe-Kisad Administrative area, Molqi sub-zone, has been upgraded to junior level.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Mengisteab Habte, Mr. Tesfaselasie Abraham and Mr. Kesete Tsige expressed satisfaction with the upgrading of the school, and said that the opportunity would raise female participation in education.

Mr. Measho Gebregiorgis, Administrator of Dembe-Kisad Administrative area, explained that the availability of such educational facility has created conducive environment for the teaching-learning process.

Mr. Tesfai Gebrenigus, director of the school, indicated that it has presently 400 students from the villages of Dembe-Kisad, Derabush, Qoromo, Mai-Afalis, Mai-Sesahu, Mai-Meriet and Geza-Hambi.
