Students in Gala-Nefhi sub-zone conducted a campaign with a view to harvest 97 farms that belong to families of fallen heroes and needy citizens as well as disabled ones.
Asmara, 2 November 2012 – Students in Gala-Nefhi sub-zone conducted a campaign with a view to harvest 97 farms that belong to families of fallen heroes and needy citizens as well as disabled ones. Reports indicated that more than 1,200 students from 4 Junior and Secondary schools participated in the undertaking.
Among the coordinators of the campaign, Robel Teklai pointed out that the campaign was conducted in Adi-Guaedad and Himbirti villages.
Among the beneficiaries, Ms. Azmera Habtemariam, Ms. Gidei Beraki and Ms. Ezgeharia Tewoldebirhan lauded the initiative taken by the students, and voiced satisfaction with the timely collection of their harvest.
Among the students, Awet Musie, Nura Mohammed-Hagos, Hana Kahsai and Esaw Goitom aired out moral satisfaction with participating in the undertaking.
