Potable water supply facility put in place in Alalie village

A potable water supply facility has been put in place in the village of Alalie, Southern Red Sea region. Assab, 3 November 2012 – A potable water supply facility has been put in place in the village of Alalie, Southern Red Sea region.

Mr. Kibrom Nirayo, head of administration and finance in the regional Administration, indicated that the government has been exerting endeavors to expand the number of social service facilities in remote areas, and called on the inhabitants to practice judicious utilization of the facility.

Mr. Tesfamariam Yohanes, Acting head of the department of infrastructure in the regional Administration, explained that the facility was put in place at an expenditure of 5 million Nakfa, and commended the active participation of the inhabitants in the process.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Hassen Redo, Ms. Esha Ali and Ms. Sherifa Ahmed expressed satisfaction with the facility, and said that it attests to the national endeavors towards ensuring social justice.
