Hagaz, 4 November 2012- A Secondary School built in Hagaz town at more than 11 million Nakfa started rendering service.
The school incorporates 20 class rooms, offices, library as well as workshop and others.
9th grade student Samson Teklezghi indicated that they were encountering problems due to shortage of class rooms and that with the construction of the new school their problem has been alleviated.
Students Adel Naser and Abrurahman Mohammed-Omer on their part stated that thanks to the new school they have been able to learn with no difficulty and called for the availability of the remaining school materials.
From parents Mr. Tewolde Kibreab expressed satisfaction for the opportunity their children were provided and reminded students to exert maximum effort so that they become competitive in their activities.
Likewise, Mr. Tiumzgi Yohannes, Administrator of Hagaz town, commending the excellent work of Debwin Construction Company in building the school and explained that the town administration along with the physical participation of the inhabitants invested more than 1.6 million Nakfa to build the school fence.
He further said that there existed problem in the teaching learning process due to shortage of class rooms and with the construction of the new school the problem has been alleviated.
The school has already commenced rendering service by enrolling more than 900 students.
