It made the call at a meeting conducted in Ginda town with Area administrators and heads of line ministries.
Reports presented at the meeting indicate that latent micro-dams have been built in Nefasit and Mai-Habar Administrative areas, while renovation accomplishments have been made on various dirt roads and bridges. Accordingly, the role of popular undertaking was crucial in the construction of health stations and youth center, in addition to soil and water conservation.
Mr. Tewolde Tesfazgi, administration and finance head in the sub-zonal Administration, said that Area administrators should uphold exchange of experience so as to ensure effective and sound reporting system.
The participants of the meeting held discussion and put forth views regarding agricultural activities, management of enclosures and promotion of community-based style of living.
Ms. Amna Haji Osman, Administrator of Ginda sub-zone, lauded the active popular participation demonstrated in the implementation of development schemes in general, and soil and water conservation in particular.
