Elementary school in Edi upgraded to junior level

The Elementary School in Edi semi-urban center, Southern Red Sea region, has been upgraded to junior level.

 

Edi, 6 November 2012 – The Elementary School in Edi semi-urban center, Southern Red Sea region, has been upgraded to junior level.

The inhabitants said that the upgrading of the school would have positive impact as regards raising female participation in education at the junior level. Among the students, Idris Ahmed said that they are in a position to enjoy conducive educational environment.

The fact that students will obtain education under the umbrella of their families is an advantage in the teaching-learning process. “We have begun evening classes too,” Mr. Bedewi Idris, director of the school, asserted.

The school serves students from the villages of Antatae and Karum, as well as Edi semi-urban center.
