YPFDJ Conference conducted in Khartoum city

YPFDJ Conference was conducted from 2 to 4 November in Khartoum city, Sudan.

Asmara, 7 November 2012 – YPFDJ Conference was conducted from 2 to 4 November in Khartoum city, Sudan.

Reports indicated that the Conference in which many youth citizens from all corners of Sudan participated discussed the objective situation in the Homeland and the role of youths in the nation-building process as well as safeguarding its dignity, besides the challenges the youth face in the Diaspora. Noting that the nation-building process is the responsibility of generations which demands steadfastness and the upholding of national values, the meeting stressed that the responsibility of the present and future generation of the Homeland shoulders safeguarding its dignity alongside ensuring economic freedom.

Meanwhile, Mr. Zemihret Yohanes, Head of Research and Documentation at the PFDJ, gave extensive briefings at the conference as regards the process of building a strong nation vis-à-vis the current challenges that Eritrean youths face.

The participants of the conference said that they would put up staunch resistance against external conspiracies, and back up endeavors to nurture cultural and national values amongst the young generation. They further aired out readiness to extend support to families of martyrs and collaborate in organizing joint meetings that ensure participation of youths inside the country and abroad.
