Goluj, 8 November 2012 – The Administration on Goluj sub-zone called on farmers to secure more animal feed taking the availability of wide grazing land as a supplemental advantage.
Mr. Redie Bahlibi, head of economic development in the sub-zone, further called on the farmers to resort to modern mode of animal husbandry and adhere to proper handling of hay and other components of animal feed. Pointing out that the sub-zone is known for livestock production, he indicated that farmers are in a position to collect surplus animal feed in line with the ample rainfall registered during the rainy season.
Among the inhabitants, Sheikh Idris Mohammed and Mr. Andia Tekie said that they are engaged in the construction of animal feed stores.
