Mendefera, 8 November 2012 – Mr. Mustafa Nur-Husein, Administrator of the Southern region, said that the nation-building process is anchored on the impressive participation of the Eritrean youths, and that the nation would attain prosperity thanks to such participation. The Administrator made the remark at a seminar he conducted with the youths in the region.
He indicated that nationalism along with self-discipline constitutes a major prerequisite for people’s success, and that the government is stepping up endeavors to equip youths with knowledge and experience. Mr. Mustafa further lauded the active participation of youths in the national development drive, and called on them to keep intact cultural and national values.
The seminar also noted the development accomplishments being registered in the domains of agriculture, tourism and trade, as well as the putting in place of infrastructure and social services.
The participants of the seminar voiced satisfaction with the seminar and said that they would enhance participation in national development programs. They also put forth views pertaining to various issues.
