A training course regarding journalism is being conducted in collaboration between the Ministry of Information and the Southern Red Sea regional Administration for a total of 33 youths with a view to reinforcing media coverage in the area. Assab, 9 November 2012 – A training course regarding journalism is being conducted in collaboration between the Ministry of Information and the Southern Red Sea regional Administration for a total of 33 youths with a view to reinforcing media coverage in the area.
Indicating that the national media has been playing influential role on youths, Mr. Kibrom Nirayo, head of administration and finance in the regional Administration, expressed conviction that the demand for reporters would be met following the deployment of the trainees, and lauded the Information Ministry’s commitment in this regard.
Mr. Sibhatu Kifle, head of human resource development in the Ministry of Information, pointed out that the growing trend in media production attests to its consistent endeavor towards building human resource capacity. He also lauded the collaboration of the Southern Red Sea region.
The one-month training comprises principles of journalism, still photography, video shooting and other technical aspects.
