Ministry rehabilitates families of martyrs and needy citizens in Goluj sub-zone

The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Goluj sub-zone has rehabilitated families of martyrs and needy citizens in material and financial assistance. Accordingly, some of the citizens have become beneficiaries of carts worth 20,000 Nakfa, while others were provided with 4,500 Nakfa each, depending on their level of needs. Goluj, 14 November 2012 – The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare’s branch in Goluj sub-zone has rehabilitated families of martyrs and needy citizens in material and financial assistance. Accordingly, some of the citizens have become beneficiaries of carts worth 20,000 Nakfa, while others were provided with 4,500 Nakfa each, depending on their level of needs.

Among the beneficiaries, Ms. Nefisa Adem, Ms. Tsige Yemane, Ms. Fethia Mohammed and Ms. Lula Niguse expressed satisfaction with the support extended to them, and said that it is a springboard to improve their livelihood.

They further indicated that some of the beneficiaries of the financial support have already invested it in livestock production.

Mr. Firezgi Yemane, head of social service in the locality, explained that the sub-zonal Administration also provides advisory service to beneficiaries of the support pertaining to its utilization.
