Eritrean community members residing in Qatar said that the festival they have been conducting annually since 2009 provides a favorable environment for holding intact cultural values and bequeathing them to the young generation.
Asmara, 17 November 2012 – Eritrean community members residing in Qatar said that the festival they have been conducting annually since 2009 provides a favorable environment for holding intact cultural values and bequeathing them to the young generation. They further pointed out that such event is also a good occasion in which they get informed about the objective situation in the Homeland and foster their participation in the national development drive.
Among the nationals, Ms. Muna Osman, Ms. Ametegiorgis Hailemichael, Mr. Abduselam Mohammed Seid and Mr. Dawod Ali Gebil indicated that women played a great role in making the event vibrant, and that the ongoing exhibition’s content has conveyed a vivid message as regards the development accomplishments being registered in the Homeland. They further voiced satisfaction with the overall activities of the festival, in which active participation of community members was witnessed.
Salina Cultural Troupe staged impressive cultural performances yesterday that lasted from 8:00 Pm to 2:00 in the dawn, according to reports.
