Extensive environmental campaign conducts in Central region

The inhabitants of Central region today, in the morning hours, conducted extensive environmental campaign. Asmara, 18 November 2012- The inhabitants of Central region today, in the morning hours, conducted extensive environmental campaign.

In an interview he made, Mr. Berhane Negash, Director General of Social Service in the region, indicated that though, in accordance with the time table from the region, the sub-zones are conducting monthly environmental campaigns the yearly programs have witnessed the strong participation of the inhabitants.

Ms. Jirom Tela and Mr. Yared Kidane, inhabitants of Godaif, expressing the importance of such environmental campaigns commended the participation of the people.

In Central region 500 thousand of garbage is collected every year.
