New school opens in Tseret Administrative area

A new Elementary School has opened in Tseret Administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, at an expenditure of more than 1.5 million Nakfa. Ginda, 20 November 2012 – A new Elementary School has opened in Tseret Administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, at an expenditure of more than 1.5 million Nakfa.

Among the students, Fatina Ibrahim and Husein Mahmoud voiced satisfaction with the new educational facility. Ms. Halima Mentai and Ms. Jim’a Mohammed Siraj, parents, on their part expressed appreciation to the government’s commitment towards ensuring even distribution of social service facilities nationwide.

Mr. Ali Abdalla, director of the school, explained that its activity is in line with the pace of the current academic year, and that the school has registered more students.

Mr. Mehari Tselotu, head of infrastructure department in the sub-zonal Administration, indicated that the school comprises 5 classrooms, office, store, toilets and water reservoir, and is serving students from the villages of Falu-Ginda, Enda-Dearit, Babi, Galaria and Medain.
