The Administration of Habero sub-zone indicated that the putting in place of electricity supply facility is a springboard to enhaced socio-economic development in the locality. Accordingly, the electrification process is being implemented in the Administrative areas of Filfile, Gelet, Qar’obel and Aritai, as well as Fentik and Maimelih villages. Habero, 22 November 2012 – The Administration of Habero sub-zone indicated that the putting in place of electricity supply facility is a springboard to enhaced socio-economic development in the locality. Accordingly, the electrification process is being implemented in the Administrative areas of Filfile, Gelet, Qar’obel and Aritai, as well as Fentik and Maimelih villages.
Mr. Jimi’e Hamd, Acting administrator of the sub-zone, disclosed that the inhabitants have become beneficiaries of various social services such as education, health and potable water supply, and that the locality’s trend of community-based style of living is on the rise. He further pointed out that the process of erecting poles and installation of wires has been finalized in the majority of the beneficiary villages.
Mr. Hamd Jabera, Administrator of Aritai Administrative area, lauded the government’s commitment to promote development in the area, and said that the process of its electrification has gained momentum.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Humed Ali Mohammed, Ms. Halima Mohammed Idris voiced satisfaction with becoming beneficiaries of such facility, and stated that it is a major prerequisite for the improvement of their livelihood.
