Areza residents express satisfaction with extended hours of electricity supply

The residents Areza semi-urban center, Southern region, voiced satisfaction with extended hours of electricity supply, which is reportedly making remarkable impact on its development. Areza, 26 November 2012 – The residents Areza semi-urban center, Southern region, voiced satisfaction with extended hours of electricity supply, which is reportedly making remarkable impact on its development.

One of the residents, Mr. Eyob Zegergis, a pharmacist, lauded the active participation of the dwellers of the semi-urban center in the process of enhancing electricity supply hours. He further indicated that they are rendering pharmacy services up to 11 PM. Mr. Mehari Woldemichael on his part said that various infrastructure and social service facilities have been put in place in the semi-urban center, and that the residents are playing significant role to this end.

Mr. Jirom Woldai, Chairman of the semi-urban center’s development committee, disclosed that the inhabitants and natives of Areza played considerable part in this regard, and that new activities have been launched as regards ensuring sustainability of the electricity supply facility. Moreover, Mr. Kalab Gidei, member of the committee, called on the residents to avoid unwarranted extension of electricity wires.
