Asmara, 26 November 2012 – Eritrean community members residing in Saudi Arabia expressed satisfaction with the investment prospects in the Homeland with a view to laying the groundwork for nationals to become prime beneficiaries of the nation’s resources. They aired out such appreciation at separate meetings they held in Riyadh and Jeddah cities during which they voiced readiness to become beneficiaries of the opportunity.
The Eritrean Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Mohammed Omar Mahmoud, gave extensive briefings as regards views put forth at the First National Investment Conference, and called on the community members to step up participation in the Second National Investment Conference due to be held next month.
The participants of the meetings, expressed conviction that the conference would provide a forum for valuable discussion as nationals having diverse experience and professional background would participate there. Furthermore, they explained that such business ventures would give impetus to national development.
