The Administration of Areza semi-urban center indicated that the residents have been exerting endeavors towards reinforcement of social service facilities. Accordingly, they have become beneficiaries of health, potable water supply, education and electricity supply facilities, while construction of a meeting hall is underway and the launching of mobile telephone service is anticipated shortly. Areza, 4 December 2012 – The Administration of Areza semi-urban center indicated that the residents have been exerting endeavors towards reinforcement of social service facilities. Accordingly, they have become beneficiaries of health, potable water supply, education and electricity supply facilities, while construction of a meeting hall is underway and the launching of mobile telephone service is anticipated shortly.
Mr. Ogbai Amanuel from the Administration of the semi-urban center pointed out that 70% of the hall’s construction has been finalized, and that the inhabitants are playing impressive role in the implementation of such schemes.
Mr. Yemane Woldu, member of the semi-urban center’s development committee, said that the meeting hall is being constructed at government expenditure of 1 million Nakfa and through monetary as well as labor input of the inhabitants.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Siraj Hamd, Ms. Hadas Tesfagabir and Ms. Ethiopia Gebremeskel voiced readiness to enhance the impact of popular participation to this end.
