Higher community awareness being witnessed in Mendefera sub-zone

The office of Police Forces in the Southern region indicated that a growing trend of community awareness has been noted in Mendefera sub-zone regarding law. Mendefera, 7 December 2012 – The office of Police Forces in the Southern region indicated that a growing trend of community awareness has been noted in Mendefera sub-zone regarding law. Accordingly, instance of criminal acts and the resulting material loss have fallen by 29% and 25% respectively.

In a seminar he conducted with the residents of Mendefera city, Col. Mohammed-Nur Ali, Commander of Police Forces in the region, called on parents to enhance their relations with the police and play due role in bequeathing cultural values to the young generation.
