Asmara, 15 December 2012 – A number of citizen potential investors who arrived last night at Asmara International Airport to take part in the Second National Investment Conference said that investing in the Homeland involves a double advantage.

The citizens who took an organized flight from various corners of the world through Eritrean Airlines, Nas-Air, Yemeni Airways, Lufthansa and Egypt Air asserted that investment in one’s native land is a springboard to ensuring sustainable economy, and voiced readiness to become beneficiaries of the new investment prospects.

Among the entrepreneurs, Mr. Tesfalem Gerahtu and Mr. Berhe Mahrai expressed satisfaction with the First National Investment Conference which ensured crystallized ideas through providing a forum between nationals residing here in the country and abroad, as well as the government. Moreover, they voiced expectation that the Second Investment Conference would be a steppingstone to pragmatic move towards the cherished goal.

Mr. Yohanes Itbarekh, Mr. Mihretab Siyum and Mr. Misgina Bahre on their part lauded the holding of the conference at the scheduled time, and said that they would invest in various domains, thus giving impetus to the national development drive.

It is to be recalled that the National Center for Investment indicated that the number of investors due to participate in the Second National Investment Conference is beyond anticipation.
