Youths in Northern Red Sea region called upon to enhance integrated endeavors in national development programs

The Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, Ms. Tsigereda Woldegiorgis, called on youths in the region to enhance integrated endeavors in the implementation of national development programs. Massawa, 15 December 2012 – The Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, Ms. Tsigereda Woldegiorgis, called on youths in the region to enhance integrated endeavors in the implementation of national development programs. She made the call at an assessment meeting conducted yesterday in the port city of Massawa during which it was stated that the development accomplishments and infrastructures laid in the region are a steppingstone to a bright future, and that active youth participation is a major prerequisite to this end.

The regional Administrator further called for the reinforcement of ventures pertaining to the conservation of environmental resources, and indicated that remarkable achievements have been made as regards soil and water conservation. The participants of the meeting on their part conducted in-depth discussion regarding the merits and challenges of programs mapped out for implementation in the region by the NUEYS, and voiced readiness to step up efforts towards the realization of the set goal.

Mr. Ahmed Jaefer, head of the NUEYS branch in Northern Red Sea region, explained that youths have been playing dynamic role in the nation-building process, and called on the youths in the region to sustain their spirit of determination in State affairs.

Among the participants, Habtom Aregai, Khalled Saleh and Nadia Seid said that the nation’s development drive attests to the production capacity the youths have acquired.
