Debarwa, 17 December 2012 – The inhabitants of Adi-Felesti village, Debarwa sub-zone, said that the health station there which was opened this year is rendering commendable service.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Tesfu Kifle, Mr. Gilai Tesfamichael and Ms. Tabotu Mehari expressed satisfaction with the quality of service the health station is rending vis-à-vis the hospitality of the health personnel, and commended the government’s commitments towards ensuring equitable social services in rural areas. They further lauded the significant role the health station is playing as regards pediatric and maternal care.
Mr. Mengis Tsegai, head of the health station, explained that it is serving the inhabitants of Adi-Felesti, Adi-Nahbai, Mai-Dima, Mai-Albo, Ziban-Sigi, Dembe-Guef and Adi-Zahit villages, and that it has ample accommodation, potable water supply and pharmaceutical facilities. Accordingly, the average number of patients it is serving reaches 40.
